The fracas with thick-headed pedestrians

On days that I ride my bicycle to work, those mornings, afternoons and evenings are really a test of my mind to tolerate such people whom, despite several blaring alarms generated from my electronic bell, refuse to budge from their original path and continue to walk three in a line or sometimes, even four in a line.

At times, I even had to reduce my speed to normal walking momentum and say “Excuse Me” before they shift (slightly) to allow just small gap for me to whizz through. Mind you these are educated crowd that work in those IT-savvy buildings located along the stretch of Kaki Bukit Ave.

However, this afternoon, an incident left me with a less favorable impression on these imbeciles.

Kal Ho Na Ho

Arts Central is showing Bollywood blockbuster films for this month. And when I mean hot, I mean literally it sizzles big time. Coincidentally, its showing four of Shahrukh Khan’s films (might as well they name it as Shahrukh’s month of December instead 🙂

Anyway, last night’s Kal Ho Na Ho was simply a masterpiece, a class of its own. If you don’t cry at the end of the scene watching Shahrukh died (yes he died in this film at the end, how sad), then I wouldn’t know what to say.

In a recent survey conducted on some Hindi avid movie-goers in India, it was worth noticing that 82% of the Hindi ladies will cry whenever Shahrukh Khan’s character portrayal in any given movie died. Can you bloody imagine the impact that this guy has made and will continue to make to the world of Bollywood cinema?

The amount of passion that he show on his films are simply marvellous. I’ve yet to know if anyone would cry for me on my deathbed except for my loved ones of course. Sigh, such is life. You win some, you lose some.

Cheers!

Some Muslim men with arrogant but stupid attitude

Now before you people start to hit back on me as to why I say such a remark, pls read my account that I’m going to write here and which is also something that is happening to most of the mosques in our own country which sadly, the Islamic Religious council fail to curb or prevent such things from happening.
