battling your fears to achieve freedom

The only real prison is fear, and the only real freedom is freedom from fear (Aung San Suu Kyi, 1995).

Perhaps when she was saying this, she was living in a harsh political climate but from what I observe, the statement can be use in any context. With that in mind, I think I will give it another shot and ride the waves to Batam once again.
