The browser wars have officially begun, again. This time, its 2 vs 7. Firefox 2 vs IE 7. Within days of IE going public, Firefox released their long awaited Firefox 2 browser.

Now, even before I get into the browsers, I have a few questions to ask. Exactly who was waiting for Firefox 2? And Internet Explorer 7? What were you not able to accomplish with both Firefox 1.6 or IE 6 that you were anxiously awaiting 2 and 7? Now that 2 and 7 have released, will the internet start getting restless about Firefox 3 and IE 8? Security did you say? Well wait for 2 months and soon the fun shall begin on both Firefox and IE.

Nonetheless, now that both have come out, and sooner or later Microsoft is going to force dump IE 7 on us in form of automatic update, here is a quick take on newer versions of both browsers.

Edited: Apparently, Microsoft have released the force automatic update. 🙂

– 5 more S/G/H PCs allocated to Helpdesk. Previous bitch SDM did not inform DPE or the PE at all that helpdesk have a shortage of S/G/H connected terminals and we have to resort to sharing (2 agents sharing 1 PC.) DPE exclaimed to TL, “no wonder there were no ‘quality’ service provided by helpdesk.”

Hang on a sec. WHat on Earth is he trying to say about quality here ? And since when have he brought quality to the project too ? Bloody ~~fuck~~ ass~~hole~~. Sheesh…

– There will be an extra 1 measly headcount addon, thus bringing the total to 10 + 1. I wonder if it will work out this time around.

Yes, it is true that despite all the advancement in technology in this modern era, we cannot do anything when natural disasters happen and can only hope for the best.

Yet, with all the news coverage shown in CNA, it is surprising that there are some ~~assholes~~ idiots that call up the technical support and complain about the Internet slowness yesterday and upon hearing the explanation, exclaimed loudly:

“What does the submarine cables in Taiwan have to do with Internet in Singapore???”

Some people will never understand about Internet at all.
