Sucks or Not Sucks, That is the Question?

Piracy or just a lack of acceptance

Last week, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer lamented on the lack of acceptance and sales of Microsoft’s latest flagship, Windows Vista. His current place of blame is: Pirates and piracy!

Of supernatural issues and beyond: The sequel

I decided not to talk about the revelation from my dad first and perhaps, the final trilogy of this supernatural entries will be added in that will contain all the details that you will want to know. Instead, let me relate to you the incident that shook me up till this day.

The second incident took place about 2 or 3 months after the first incident. By then, the memory of the first incident was more or less dormant in my mind and that night appear to be like any other night: cool, breezy and the occasional sound of the footsteps of people going out of the lift and walking along the corridor (my previous house was just beside the main lift, those long corridors type stretching from one end to another end, and my unit is at the central staircase).

I still remember vividly, the events leading up to the incident. I came back late from school. Took a quick shower, had my dinner and stayed at the hall to watch TV2’s hollywood movies. Last time, TV2 had a knack for showing the latest blockbusters as compared to SBC 5 who were in the process of changing to TCS 5 and kept showing re-runs of dilapidated movies 🙂

Anyway, it just so happen that my grandmother, whom I’m so deeply attach to, was staying for 2 to 3 months at our house as my eldest uncle was going on overseas post for that period and no one to look after her.

Getting Your System Ready For Windows Vista

It is probably still not a good time yet to upgrade your machine to the latest Windows but if you insist, there are some things you need to consider first. Not only do you need to think about which version of Vista is right for you, but you also need to consider issues such as data backup and how to transfer files from Windows XP.

The best way is to visit Microsoft’s Web site and reading about the features and details of each version of Vista as it will probably give you a good idea of which version best-suited to your needs, but you also need to make sure the version you have in mind is also suited to your computer system.

Of course, to help you determine which Vista is right for you, trust Microsoft to come out with the Upgrade Advisor, a reporting tool that scans your system to help you determine if a Vista upgrade will work with your current system set-up and software.

A typical day in baghdad

Below is a forwarded email I received today from an investigative reporter who is working with John Loftus and Nova M Radio to get the truth out to the American people that is not being fully reported by the public media. It is yet another reason to support the dissemination of the truth by independent media. I have redacted some of the expletives.
