Kids these days…

Kids these days… are far worse off than what I was 10 years ago.

Ok I admit that my friends and I were equally as bad as they were too. We had our fair share of evil horns as well. But I remember clearly that these same bunch of people whom I regard as my friends, they don’t behave as satanic as compared to kids these days upon entering a MOSQUE.

My friends and I knew our limits when we enter the house of God. Even before we even enter beyond the gates, we would already be on our best behaviour and remain silent throughout the sermon delivered by the Imam.

We would only start talking AFTER we left the mosque.

That, was more than 10 years ago.

10 years later, the kids from the same school that my friends and I graduated are a stark contrast to how we behave earlier. I just came back from the mosque. Believe me when I say that for once, I am ashamed and disappointed to acknowledge these bunch of ‘hooligans’, acting and behaving like one even inside the mosque, as my juniors from my alma mater.

Clearly, the signs of respect are waning. I shudder to think what will happen 10 years from now even.

Sometimes, going for your reservist training is a great way to CHIAK TSUA from all the st00pid nonsense at work. Mine will start soon. Going off now.
