Slight change of work environment
Finally, after 3.5 years of doing the same role, I was given the opportunity to try out more hand-on work experience with my current company.
This after more than 3x of rejection.
In a way, I feel sad at moving out from my desk and leaving behind cheerful colleagues, who never fail to brighten up my day should the going gets tough.
[audio:greenday.mp3]Also, I felt that my contribution in my current workplace was never being recognised by the management in the first place so I figure its time to move on with my career advancement and concentrate more into the future
Political affairs aside, I had the best time of my life with my current working colleagues. May the force be with you. 🙂

Definition of love
This entry is actually a reply for my brother’s question on his weblog. Initially I had wanted to just put it in his comment but seeing that my comment was so long, I decided to just put it up here instead.
I believe that the word love itself mean different things to different people. It is like defining beauty. There is no one definition that everyone will accept.
I think the word “love” is used a lot simply because some people don’t know any other way to express pleasure or even extreme liking. They may say “I love chocolate” simply because saying “I like chocolate” doesn’t define the amount of joy they get out of eating it. Love is a word people understand better.
Our emotions are far more complex than we give them credit for. We tend to try to oversimplify them, and put them into nice, neat packages, that we think we understand, probably because we DON’T understand them. Maybe we never will.
For me, the love (of a person), is when their happiness/well-being is more important to me than my own happiness.
Even though we are human, love makes us feel like we can fly. It makes us happy. We are like birds that can’t fly. Yet we try to anyway. We know it may cause pain and sorrow, but it always has its price. There’s is always that hope of flying. Because when we are up there falling, all we can hear is the wind blazing past our ears, and nothing more. No worry. No pain. No sorrow. Nothing.
It may not last and it may cost us our lives in the end, but it is worth it.
If it has tyres or testicles

HOW MANY times have I heard a sentence starting with those immortal words ‘The Trouble With Men Is That…’, but this time I received a little gem in my inbox from someone which goes some way towards explaining the anti-male feeling out there.
After all – not everyone can be as lucky as us men! 🙂
GREENPEACE HAS CONDUCTED a series of tests on the Apple iPhone and found it coming up short in the environmental department. Specifically, Greenpeace says its own tests of the iPhone uncovered hazardous substances which had already been eliminated by other mobile phone manufacturers.

The articles said that they are contacting the man’s real family. Wondering if do they really know who he really is? This is very tragic. Somehow, this also adds to the arguments about how eye-witnesses can be horrible mistaken.
I bet it was really awkward trying to convince his own friends and family that: “No, seriously guys! I’m not dead!” 🙂
