Hahahahahaaha. Still got the cheek to call technical support to declare the issue and worse, trying to get a warranty replacement !!

Adobe Reader is the standard application for viewing PDFs. Indeed PDF as a format is an Adobe creation. However, Adobe Reader is a big application for what it does. Its also uses a lot of memory, over 20MB for a one page document. Along with the extremely slow startup, there are lots of extensions and complicated features.
There are alternatives however, it doesn’t take a supercomputer to read PDFs 🙂

I hope he gets some compensation for this. Its very, very sad that it took 20 years before they realised his innocence. But compensation aside, it still doesn’t make up for the hell he must have faced sitting in a cell for 20 years knowing he didn’t do anything to deserve being there.
“Even prosecutors wondered about the case”? Shit, that’s scary. At least he wasn’t given the death penalty. If that was the case, then it would truly suck.
It would only be fair now to imprison the judge, the policeman and the prosecuting attorney. 🙂
One part of me thought that the scene is probably being acted out. Even so, I’ve heard from friends who actually did the exact same thing when they are being caught over there.
In any case, I don’t think they are allowed to even wear the uniform while doing an ‘act’.

I would not be surprised if I read on the news anytime soon that a TPJC student is knocked down while going to their institution early morning. These students have an issue of coming to their JC earlier than their reporting time and will end up DASHING across the streets irregardless of the impending vehicles movements when they hear the bell or they saw the shutters start to close.
