Selected Murphy Law’s

1. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.

2. If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen then.

3. Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first.

4. You never run out of things that can go wrong.

5. The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.

6. Do something brilliant and no one notices. Do something stupid, and the boss is sure to see it.

Inequality in life

Have you ever wondered why destiny insists on making us unequal in life?

Does how well we turn out in life depend mainly on how well we play the cards destiny had dealt to us? Or does the set of cards dealt to us have a significant, if not, a decisive role to play as well?

For every one success, there are probably 100 failure cases that fade into obscurity, doomed to live in their little ghettos that society and their own poor self-esteem will impose upon them.

One bad Photoshop mistake

hand

Apparently, Thing from The Addam’s Family is back to work. Would kinda freak me out if there was a random hand on my shoulder in a photo though 🙂

Guy lost job after saving woman’s life!

Yet here we are again in this great big huge world of ours finding a way to go out of our way to hurt the helpful. The poor guy did what any decent citizen would do by attempting to assist in an awful situation.

Granted, I am not a huge fan of guns, but my goodness, this lady was screaming and it’s not like he went there looking to specifically shoot someone! Sad Sad Sad for the employer to look at this the way they did

Im sure his supervisors would regret firing him the next time THEY get robbed at gun point.

Bruley said he was too shaken to call his supervisor immediately after the incident, which occurred just before 2 a.m., but planned to eventually do so. He also said he was acting as a citizen, not an employee, and shouldn’t have been punished for trying to protect himself and others. He never fired the shotgun.

“I was expecting work to give me some kind of commendation,” said Bruley, 24. “I was totally blown back. It was a crisis that most people don’t go through.”

Chinese Bloggers and Gamers Rejoice

china I HAVE A FASCINATION with China, and in particular how as a nation they are trying to cope with the massive slide towards western products, cultures and potentially democracy in the long run. There are many challenges facing them, but high up on that list is the Internet and what it represents to the Chinese authorities. To what do I refer? Well, freedom of course.

The Internet poses the greatest threat to the authorities because of the potential it holds for individual freedom, in a country still dominated by communist governance and policies… but this won’t last forever either.

Going for a new theme

Might be going for a new layout and new theme soon, considering the fact that the sidebar is getting longer and quite possibly, adopting a 3-column layout soon.

Any recommendations for a good WordPress theme, possibly Adsense-Ready ?

When it comes to family gatherings or occasions, I always dread having my relatives coming over and start to bitch/whine/lament on issues and worst, about me !!
