I have learnt lately that:
I’m not the most technical of people, but let me tell you a funny account that happened last Monday. I got a call from a rather infuriated client that had the infamous “blue screen of death”.
He said that he called our line earlier and one of the new guy told him that his monitor just had to be “de-gassed” (degaussed). He called to inform that problem persist still.
Its a bit weird because this has got nothing to do with the monitor too. Needless to say, I tried to stifle my laughter to its bare minimum, grinning from ear to ear at both the competency level of the client-tech support fiasco.
Of course, someone else was called in to replace the client’s hard drive and reload back the OS.
In a way, I don’t blame the customer. At the standard our firm is hiring in (insurance agents, electronic stuff salesgirls, stock exchange staff – all these had only 1 similarity: call centre experience), they’re in for some serious gawking by the customers soon.

Billions Vanishing Without A Trace?
BILLIONS of honey bees in the US and Europe have disappeared in the last year or so, as in vanished completely. No dead bodies. No evidence. No nothing… just a very very large absence of bees. This phenomenon was first noticed late last year in the USA and I know it sounds like some science fiction introduction, but this is actually happening for real and it’s got a lot of people very worried.
So, why should you care?
